Pathways Learning: Creating and Assigning Learning Paths (Administrator)

Overview

This article walks district and school administrators through how to create and assign Learning Paths to classrooms.

Steps to Follow

1. Select Content under the Learning module from the dashboard and then the Math & ELA Learning Paths tile.
2. Click the button to create a path and then select the subject.
3. Follow the steps to create a custom Learning Path that is aligned to a scope and sequence, pacing guides or a specific set of concepts the students need to work on repeatedly.  District administrators can share it across the district. School administrators can share it with their school only or with all schools in the district.
4. The administrator can always return to the Content Library, locate the path and perform specific actions. When the path is shared, others can perform the same actions except edit it. 
5. To assign the path to several classrooms at once, the administrator can select the assign to students button in the previous image. In the window, first select the grade level of the classrooms the path needs to be assigned to. A list of all classrooms assigned to that grade level will be listed on the left-hand side. Select the classroom's name to assign the Learning Path to the entire classroom. If classrooms have already been assigned the Learning Path, they will appear on the right-hand side of the window. In this window, you can also choose for the journey in this path to automatically start in placement mode.
