What do my students see when they sign in?

Your student’s teacher may have assigned specific tasks for independent work in addition to the Adaptive or Automatic tasks which remain on his or her dashboard.

With your parent account, you have complete access to what the teacher has assigned to your student, and you can quickly view progress.

Your student can access Pathways Learning anywhere there is an internet connection and on any device 7” or larger. Check if your device is compatible by clicking here from the device!

What do I see when I sign in?

Once your student's teacher invites you via email, you can sign into your parent account where you will see all students you have been connected to.

  1. You can see the student's login information.
  2. You can also launch into each of the classrooms the student has been enrolled in.
Note: If you don't see all of your students, ask one of their teachers to add you to the student's record.

How do I review my student's progress?

Your student’s teacher may have assigned specific tasks for independent work in addition to the Adaptive or Automatic tasks which remain on his or her dashboard.

  1. Once you have launched a specific classroom, tasks will be listed on the dashboard. Students will click on launch for one of the tasks.
  2. On the dashboard, you can click "view progress" to see how they are doing within their Learning Paths (Math, ELA, Fact Fluency, and Spelling).
  3. To review additional progress, you can hover over Math or ELA and select reports. You can also review Spelling practice results under Spelling and other reports under Reading.
  4. Math and ELA practice and Learning Checks (quizzes) for the past week can be reviewed once the student selects Activity Stream.

Note:  When tasks are "In progress" they say "Continue" instead of "Launch." These aren't counted in the weekly goal and coins aren't awarded. Encourage your students to complete the tasks to rack up coins and make it count towards the goal! By helping students understand how to access various data points, you are helping them own their learning!

What is the Message center?

The Message center is where you can see messages from teachers to students, messages sent directly to you, or reminders for students to complete tasks. These are one way messages.
